Plumed cap in stiffened ecru jersey with large multi-feather plume at front of cap. Two combs attached with hat elastic to strips of petersham ribbon at interior brim. Features faux flower 'lining' attached to interior of cap. With woven "William J." label.

Condition: THE FIRSTThe overall condition is good, in consideration of the vintage nature of the item. Faint discoloration marks scattered throughout exterior of hat and to feathers. Stitches attaching plume to cap have come partially undone.THE SECONDThe overall condition is good, in consideration of the vintage nature of the item. Signs of age to feathers; some light splitting and drying to feathers. A few small holes scattered throughout veil.Some light splitting of grosgrain lining from satin at edges. Faint discoloration throughout. Minor abrasions & pin holes scattered throughout from hatpins.Everything is sold 'As Is’.
